Fiddle Time Sprinters is a third book of pieces for violin using finger patterns 01-2-34, and introducing second and third positions. It includes a range of original pieces (using modes, chromatic and blues scales, dominant 7ths) and well-known pieces, plus duets with parts of equal difficulty. The CD provides performances of all the pieces, and backing only. We've added bass and drumkit for the jazz numbers. A volume of straightforward piano accompaniments is available separately
